The Region 21 Fall Black Belt Test will be held on November 14, 2008, in Jacksonville, Florida, hosted by Ms. Jan Lappin and Middleburg Martial Arts. Students must have permission from their studio owner to take any dan test. The test will be held at the Middleburg dojang. The written test begins at 5:00 PM, and the physical test at 6:00 PM. Info forms will be posted soon.

Ms. Jan Lappin and Middleburg Martial Arts will host the Region 21 Fall Clinic on Saturday, November 15, 2008, at Middleburg United Methodist Church, 3925 Main Street, Middleburg, Florida.

Going Away Party, Saturday, Sept. 6
On Saturday, September 6, at 11:00 AM, we will host a Thank You party for Brian Califf, Joe Colletti and Carlos Diaz. The senior class for that time has been cancelled for the day. Please come and show your appreciation for your senior Dan ranks for all their help and support over the years.
The 10:00 AM class will go on as normal September 6. There will be a belt ranking for all gup promotion from the last cycle of tests.
Our next regularly scheduled gup test will be on Saturday, November 1, at Christi's. The next gup test after November will be on February 14, 2009. Gup tests will now be offered approximately every 90 days.

Don't forget that Tuesday evenings, from 7:30 PM to 8:00 PM is a sparring class for all ranks.
On that note, the November clinic in Jacksonville may include team sparring.
Middleburg Martial Arts will host a zone training on Friday, October 3. There will be a certification class and exam for judges that night. The following day, Saturday, October 4, Middleburg will host an open tournament. This is an all-styles tournament. Participants can perform any form and any weapons form, including self-created forms.
